Pregnant is the new PINK.

So I'm guessing pregnant is the new PINK. First Nicole Ritchie (*eh), then J-LO (*eh), then Christina Aguilera(*totaly happy for her!!), then Jessica Alba (*NOOOOoooo! damn you Cash Warren! she was supposed to have cute babies with Chris Evans - only in my dreams.), and now Jamie Lynn Spears...yes, that's right! Britney's younger sister...and only 16 years old. Wow, and i thought she'd be the sane one in the family...but i guess i'm wrong.

My only remark to the Jamie Lynn Spears situation is that she's just too young.

Ashley Tisdale - He Said She Said (music video)

"He Said She Said" was one of my favorite tracks off of Headstrong. I like her new music video (especially the small dance break...hehe), she looks great! I've always liked her; unlike Vanessa, Ashley has a good head on her shoulders. It's good to see celebrities who aren't always in media because of a scandal but for their personality and talent. You Go Ashley, You're Fierce! =)

Here's her video...ENJOY!!

Disney is not so squeaky clean anymore.

So I'm pretty sure people all over the web have seen or heard about the naked pictures of Vanessa Anne Hudgens and yes, she has confirmed them to be true. That was really her, but that was not the thing that shocked me the most (yes, i was initially shocked to hear and see Vanessa's "racy" pictures)- what shocked me was hearing Disney say that they back her up right after she apologized for the photos. I mean, yes, it was good that she apologized for ever taking them, but I was thinking that since Disney has a certain "family" image - that they would have initially let her go. Yes, it sucks for most of these Disney stars gain such a popularity with kids, but they also have to keep a "wholesome" image. And maybe that's why some of them feel the need to have a change in life or different direction - whether of professional or personal, these Disney starts don't often stay too long (i.e. Shia Labeouf, and Raven). They want to venture off and try something new, and for most, they've succeeded.

I have mentioned before (on a previous post) my concerns with Disney's initial decisions on making the Cheetah Girls an actual girl group because of its famed movie. and well, my doubts or objections were that two of the Cheetah Girls were from a sexually racy girl group (3LW). I was confused on the fact that given these two girls' previous "racy" background, Disney still allowed them to join the group. I'm not quite on board with that. It just seems too odd, for these girls were practically dancing like hoochies, then turn 180 and became "wholesome." That i don't get. Hoochies can't be wholesome, they're hoochies.

And now, with the whole "Vanessa Anne Hudgens scandal," i think Disney is starting out with another bad decision. I mean, i have nothing against Vanessa, what you do with you body is no ones business but when these things (leaking nude pictures to the media) happen, apologizing to the public seems not enough. What made it even more weird was Disney's decision to back her up after her public apology, and that they hope this recent lapse of judgment would teach her a valuable lesson...(hummm? wtf?) also, Disney added that she is still in the possible HSM 3 movie. All I'm thinking here is that Disney doesn't care if they showcase their very popular Disney-stars to children, given their past "questionable experiences." I strongly feel that Disney is not so squeaky clean anymore. Yes, these are just two questionable encounters by Disney, but i feel this type of image will continue to bleed through their whole "enterprise." I may be one person complaining about this whole nude scandal, but in reality, there are other concerned parents out who will drop everything just to protest or make complaints by the millions. I'm pretty sure if many parents found out about this, and I'm sure they have, they will do something about it.

I like Disney, despite having started this article as more of a concern for the public, they do have good quality family shows. And yes, they featured many talented stars on the channel as well. But when they makes decisions that seems way off their usual wholesome image, i start to worry about the actual direction Disney will make in later years.

this was just a thought.

Sugababes - About You Now (Music Video)

Here's the new Sugababes music video called "About You Now" off of their new album "Change." Dr. Luke produced this track (producer of Kelly Clarkson's "Since You've Been Gone") so it has an electro/pop feel to it. I like it. But one thing I miss is seeing Mutya Buena. She was cool, and i was sad when she left the group. Mutya's CD is also good, it's worth the listen.

Here's the video;ENjoy!

The Veronicas - Hook Me Up

Here is the new single/new video from The Veronicas called "Hook Me Up." The song has an electro-pop feel to it and I admit that it's growing on me. As for the video, I've said this before but I'll say it again, i find the sisters a little too "in love" with each other (i.e. in the "4ever" music video they seem to act a little "too close"). I mean, i know they're twin sisters, and are very very close, but every time I see them on screen I feel as though they're giving off a "lez" vibe. Yeah, i know it sounds a bit incestuous, but hey, i guess relationships between twins differ from other different-age siblings.
SO why bring this up? Maybe it's just i find myself not used to seeing "really really close siblings," especially twins siblings. So don't get me wrong - i like The Veronicas! I find their music and personality to be quite appealing. And if for some chance their sophomore album releases this year, i am SO Getting It! I just felt like sharing a random thought.

Well, here's their song and music video; ENJOY!

i would still love kelly clarkson if she really did this during her concert.

got music?

So I've managed to listen to some albums, and here is what I recommend.

Aly & AJ - Insomniatic

Dean Geyer - Rush

Kelly Clarkson - My December

Lily Allen - Alright, Still

Rihanna - Good Girl Gone Bad

Why these five albums you may ask? Well, these albums have been on heavy rotation on my computer/boom-box/mp3player for quite some time.
Also, here is what I think of them:

"Insomniatic" (Aly&AJ) - I've always been a fan of their music. "Into the Rush" was a good cd, and when they re-released it with "Chemicals React," I was hooked. This third cd (their second was "Acoustic Hearts of Winter") sounds a bit more different from their first, in a sense that they dabbled on different styles of production - but all in all - great. (Great producers I think.) Whatever it is that makes me like them, I love them even more.

"Rush" (Dean Geyer) - I admit, I never knew who this guy was. I found him accidentally through an Amazon search. When I listened to some of his music, I automatically thought that this cd was really good. I played every track without skipping.

"My December" (Kelly Clarkson) - No need to explain, It's KELLY CLARKSON. Despite all the shit she has gone through, she still manages to put herself on the top. I loved seeing her on CMT's Crossroads with Reba McEntire, she did a great job. I think this cd is great. I especially love "sober." You GO KELLY!!

"Alright, Still" (Lily Allen) - I like the fact that this girl got guts. She's very blunt and doesn't give a shit what you think of her. Piss her off and and she'll write a song about you (i.e. "not big"). She's also funny, and reminds me of Avril Lavigne (when she was in her rebellious phase). Who knew that a girl who looks a bit dainty is really very cool and kicks ass! My fav track is "ldn."

"Good Girl Gone Bad" (Rihanna) - I pressed play, and I loved every track. Another great album by Rihanna, and one of her Best. Despite "umbrella" being over played, I can't help but sing along with the chorus. lol.

Well, since I'm on my summer I'll be able to update more (hopefully).
See you around til' next post.

Funny How Karma works

It's funny to see celebrities at their worst.
All I can ask is "why does she continue to ruin herself?" I mean, I get the whole "any publicity is good publicity," but when it gets in the way of your health (especially when you recently left rehab)sometimes A HUGE WAKE-CALL IS NEEDED.

C'mon, first walk out drunk at the club, then you drive drunk, and onto a tree. Also, to top it off, cocaine is found in that same car. I mean, C'Mon!
Yeah, Lindsay's days in rehab sure did her well...she's right back where she started. And hopefully, this time it will stick. Because to be honest, she has so much potential.

-Funny how karma works though.
-What's also funny is the picture of her passed out in the car; I find it quite hilarious to look at!!

Mars attacks!!! (veronica, that is.)

I was supposed to mention this yesterday but i completely forgot to. Veronica Mars is back for the rest of the season. I'm not sure if it'll be back for season 4, but I'm crossing my fingers for it.

As for One Tree Hill, it sucks how it had to wait for "Search for the next PCD" to finish. I'm glad that it's back. I'm happy that Peyton & Brooke have worked it out. good for them!

p.s. Don't forget to watch Veronica Mars on Tuesdays @ 9pm, and One Tree Hill on Wednesdays @ 9pm (Both on CW.

some things to listen to.

After listening to LCD Soundsystem's new album "Sound Of Silver" i slowly found myself listening to electronic/alternative/dance music. I do enjoy listening to the occasional Beck, Moby, BT, IVY, and Goldfrapp.

I really like listening to Goldfrapp, especially their CD "Supernature."

*"Felt Mountain" & "Black Cherry" are also good.

Another great CD to listen to is "Too Young To Fight It," by a new artist named Young Love.

*the whole CD is worth the listen.

The O.C. series finale

I still can't believe that it ended. Though season 4 was awesome, the season felt too short (maybe add four more episodes...if only). Oh well, there is no use in re-writing history. I will miss watching The O.C. (Now I'm listening to various O.C. Mix Cds...haha).

Farewell to The O.C.

Britney bald?

So moments after posting my first post of the day, I read on Goggle news that Britney shaves her head right after entering rehab. (My first reaction to the pictures are - WTF?!?!)

During the shaving process...

Her new look. *my mouth agape.

AOL Sessions with Katharine McPhee

Katharine McPhee recently performed five songs from her new album at AOL Sessions. She sang: Over It, Open Toes, Each Other, Love Story, and Home. Though all her performances were great, I liked "Each Other" the most. I'm such a sucker for a great r&b jam, =).

another cool song.

I'm glad that Jibbs finally released this as his 3rd single. Go Melody from PCD!!

Another great SNL Digital Short

I was quite surprised with Drew Barrymore's hosting duties on SNL. It was really fun to watch her. I especially liked her SNL Digital Short that was of an 80's style workout video. Haha. Good stuff.
